Two years into this double job thing, and neither boss has a clue. It's not like I'm some spy master or anything. Most days, work is just meetings and emails that don't need my full brain. At one gig, I log in, do the must-dos, and that's it. The other? Same deal. No one's checking my every move.
First off, pick jobs that don't overlap much. My consulting spots have different clients, so times don't clash bad. I block calendars smart – say I'm in a "client call" when it's really the other job. One time, I mixed up and joined the wrong Zoom, but laughed it off as a tech glitch. No harm done.
Second, use tools to make it easy. I got separate laptops, one for each job. Keeps emails and files apart. And apps like Slack on phone help me ping quick without switching tabs all day. Saves my ass when a message pops up during the wrong meeting.
Third, focus on results, not hours. Bosses care if stuff gets done, not how long you sit there. I knock out tasks fast, so they think I'm super efficient. Hell, got praised for "working smart" last week. If you're grinding 80 hours, you're doing it wrong. OE is about less work for more pay.
But watch out for burnout. Early on, I skipped lunch and felt like crap. Now I set breaks, even if it's just walking the dog. And taxes? Yeah, they suck more with double income, but I got an accountant who handles it. Worth the fee.
This setup lets me travel and build side stuff without quitting. Why leave a steady check when you can stack em? If your job feels empty, OE fills the gaps without the risk.
Quick on me again: 25, Ivy grad, two consulting jobs, over $200K. Own a US LLC and Hong Kong holding co for brands.

It flips the script on work. Be your own LLC, pick what matters. Changes daily chats and tasks for more free time.
No get rich quick bs here. My path was standard – prep school, good scores, Ivy, usual jobs. Just smart moves now.
